For those who want to stimulate the mind and engage the community.
ON OUR SHELVES
We are indeed an independent bookstore, selling only new books. We have a Little Free Library (#80031) outside for any used books you want to share with others.
We organize our shelves based upon topic, rather than genre. You will find fiction, non-fiction, poetry, YA, and some children’s books all together, so that you can more fully explore a topic and perhaps pick up something you normally wouldn’t gravitate toward.
We also love our local authors, so we have our tree bookshelf that holds only local authors who have entrusted their books to us through consignment. When you buy one of their books, you are impacting them in a very direct and meaningful way.
We host several regular literary events. Follow us on social media for the most up to date schedule.
BOOK CLUB - The first Thursday of them month at 630pm, hosted by our friend Michelle, a local educator and avid reader.
AFTERNOON WITH AUTHORS - Typically meets on the Third Sunday of every month from 2pm-330pm. We invite a panel of 3-5 local authors to discuss a specific writing focus, share a little bit about their work, participate in a live writing/story-telling exercise, and Q&A.
USED BOOK SWAP - Twice a year, in the spring and fall, we host a used book swap. Bring as many books as you’d like, in good used condition, and receive a one-for-one credit (up to 20 books) to shop the swap. Keep in mind this is a swap, not a garage sale. Shoppers who don’t have a book credit may purchase any book for $5 each.
LITGOGGLE - Join us for a literary-focused event in October, hosted at various locations within walking distance for hourly activities including poetry slam/open mic, literary trivia, haiku death match, and panel discussions.
HARRY POTTER READ-ALOUD - The last Saturday in October we read the entire first book in the Harry Potter series, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, out loud in the shop, in collaboration with some of our other community friends. Join us in reading, as well as some Harry Potter themed activities.

TO ENJOY RIGHT AWAY
INDIVIDUAL TEA, HOT OR ICED - We have over 50 tea options in the shop that can be served hot or iced, with many non-caffeinated options. Sip on it in the shop or take it with you to go. We charge the same price per cup, regardless of the tea, because we want to provide our customers the opportunity to experience any of our teas.
SPARKLING TEA - We brew a concentrated version of our tea, lightly sweeten it, and then carbonate it with CO2 in a keg (don’t worry, it’s non-alcoholic!). Flavor rotate every 1-2 weeks, and we typically have a black, green, and herbal version. Drink it in the shop, and then grab a glass or liter of it to take home.
TO ENJOY AT HOME
COMING SOON: All of our teas can be purchased in 2oz increments (as long as we have enough in stock) of loose leaf tea to steep at home. Prices vary based upon tea.
IN THE SHOP

AFTER HOURS - Monthly, we create an alcohol-free space for our community to come and hang out. We serve non-alcoholic speciality drinks based upon our teas, partner with other local food entrepreneurs, and often provide entertainment like improv comedy, live music, and literary trivia.
